The New Zealand
Government has introduced a new travel requirement for some visitors and
transit passengers to enter New Zealand. The New Zealand Electronic Travel
Authority (NZeTA) is effective for travel to or transiting New Zealand
from 1 October 2019.
- Please note customers who have
a New Zealand or Australian passport, or hold a valid visa to enter New
Zealand will not
require an NZeTA.
- An NZeTA will be required even
if the passenger is transiting through New Zealand to another
country.
- Visitors will need to obtain an
NZeTA prior to their trip to New Zealand. Approval can take up to 72 hours
so we recommend customers apply well in advance of their departure date.
- Visitors may also be required
to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL).
