The Golden Stave Lunch has been an integral part of the Music and Entertainment Industry’s event calendar. The lunch and other events organised by the foundation have raised important funds for children’s charities.
After 35 years the mid-year luncheon was retired from the hallowed walls of the Hordern Pavilion at Moore Park to the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney in 2016. Since its conception in 1978, over $15m has been raised through the generosity of the entertainment industry.
The Late Graham Fear AM, Show Group’s former Group General Manager, was the Chairman of the Golden Stave Foundation and had been recognised for his contribution to charity work by receiving the Order of Australia in the 2015 Australia Day Honours. If you would like more information on the Golden Stave Foundation please contact Larry Warren.

Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a chance for Australians to get together and raise money for a great cause.
1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
One dollar at a time, you are making a real difference helping to fund Cancer Council’s vital research, prevention and support service programs.
Each year, the team at Show Group, in every office around the country, participate in the opportunity to raise funds for this worthwhile cause, particularly as a remembrance for three of our colleagues who have passed.
